Financial Ratios

Returns pre-computed financial ratios from the financial_ratios materialized view, most recent period first.

Ratio categories:

• Profitability — gross/operating/net margins
• Returns — ROE, ROA, ROIC
• Efficiency — asset/inventory/receivables turnover, DSO, operating cycle
• Liquidity — current, quick, cash, operating cash flow ratios
• Leverage — debt/equity, debt/assets (interest coverage null pending schema update)
• Growth — YoY growth vs same fiscal period prior year (e.g. Q1 2025 vs Q1 2024)
• Per-Share — EPS, book value per share, FCF per share
• Valuation — P/E, P/B, P/S, EV/EBITDA, EV/Revenue, FCF yield, PEG

Note on valuation ratios: market_cap_is_trailing = true indicates that valuation ratios (P/E, EV, etc.) use the current market cap from the companies table, not the period-end stock price. This gives trailing multiples, which is standard practice for non-real-time datasets.

Note on interest coverage: Returns null until interest_expense is added to the income_statements schema (pending migration).
