Emerging Topics

Returns emerging topic candidates discovered by clustering free-form document_topics across all companies.

These topics are NOT in the predefined taxonomy — they surface new themes that appear across multiple companies’ filings (e.g. “AI chip export controls”, “weight-loss drug market impact”). Topics are ranked by company_count (broadest cross-company presence first).

Candidates with status = 'promoted' have been added to the 100-topic taxonomy.
