Revenue Segments

Returns revenue segment breakdowns for a company — products, geographic regions, and business units — extracted from 10-K / 10-Q / 20-F / 40-F filings.

Each period contains one or more breakdowns (e.g. product, geographic, business_unit), each with a hierarchical list of segments.

Validation status:

• validated — segment sum matches total_revenue within ±5 %
• sum_mismatch_minor — difference 5–20 %
• sum_mismatch_major — difference > 20 %
• unverified — total_revenue unknown or no top-level segments

revenue_usd_millions is always normalised to USD millions regardless of the filing’s reported currency and unit scale.
